Hanging scroll, ink and color on silk inscribed by the artist and dated Shunzhi yiwei and signed Yuangong with an artist's seal, the outer titleslip inscribed by Chen Tao, with a calligrapher's seal.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Sleepers, 1655 by Ding Yuangong was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. The price achieved of USD 19,200.00 (€ 18,140.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Ding Yuangong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Boating was auctioned for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 19,183.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Sleepers, 1655 von Ding Yuangong kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 18.140,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ding Yuangong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Boating für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 19.183,54) versteigert.
