A top price for Ding Yuangong
This artwork by Ding Yuangong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the The Mu-Fei Collection of Chinese Paintings auction, the work Boating sold for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 19,183.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. This high result makes Boating the most expensive artwork by Ding Yuangong that we have observed at auctions so far.
