Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III, which included the work Shoushan Stone Seal by Ding Tongxin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,689.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Tongxin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Balin Stone Seal in April this year with an auction result of HKD 21,600.00 (€ 22,057.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shoushan Stone Seal von Ding Tongxin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.689,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Tongxin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Balin Stone Seal im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 22.057,83).
