Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shousan Stone Seal by Ding Tongxin was auctioned at POLY in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 2,212.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ding Tongxin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balin Stone Seal in April this year with an auction result of HKD 21,600.00 (€ 22,057.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shousan Stone Seal von Ding Tongxin kam im Januar 2024 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 2.212,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ding Tongxin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balin Stone Seal im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 22.057,83).
