Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Five Lohans Waiting For The Red Bat by Ding Guanpeng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 12,148.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Guanpeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eminent Monks Preaching in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 312,500.00 (€ 292,110.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Five Lohans Waiting For The Red Bat von Ding Guanpeng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 12.148,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Guanpeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eminent Monks Preaching im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 312.500,00 (€ 292.110,67).
