Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dines Carlsen could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Black and Brass changed hands for USD 59.75 (€ 54.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dines Carlsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs. Carlsen In The Lilac Garden in June 2001 with an auction result of USD 7,050.00 (€ 8,319.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dines Carlsen konnte im März 2003 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Black and Brass für USD 59,75 (€ 54,82) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dines Carlsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs. Carlsen In The Lilac Garden im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.050,00 (€ 8.319,57).
