Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Backyard At Falls Village by Dines Carlsen for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,101.77). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Dines Carlsen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2001 by the work Mrs. Carlsen In The Lilac Garden at USD 7,050.00 (€ 8,319.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Backyard At Falls Village von Dines Carlsen für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.101,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Dines Carlsen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Mrs. Carlsen In The Lilac Garden mit USD 7.050,00 (€ 8.319,57).
