Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dimitri Hadzi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2010. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Scudi I sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,564.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dimitri Hadzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Levitation, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dimitri Hadzi erzielte im Juli 2010 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Scudi I für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.564,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Levitation beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36) versteigert wurde.
