Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Minos Altarpiece #1 by Dimitri Hadzi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,486.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dimitri Hadzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Levitation in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Minos Altarpiece #1 von Dimitri Hadzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.486,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Levitation im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36).
