Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chanteuse by Dietz Edzard was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,226.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dietz Edzard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstporträt no. 5 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 74,388.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chanteuse von Dietz Edzard kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.226,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dietz Edzard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstporträt no. 5 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 74.388,37).
