A top price for Dietrich Langko - as previously expected
In October 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Along a stream in winter by Dietrich Langko. The price achieved of EUR 4,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Along a stream in winter is the most expensive artwork by Dietrich Langko that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Along a stream in winter von Dietrich Langko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Along a stream in winter das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dietrich Langko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
