Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Die Befreiung Der Finger (1-6) by Dieter Appelt was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,073.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dieter Appelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Forth Bridge - Cinema. Metric Space' in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 49,165.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Die Befreiung Der Finger (1-6) von Dieter Appelt kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.073,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dieter Appelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Forth Bridge - Cinema. Metric Space' im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 49.165,28).
