Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Diego Rivera achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in June this year. In the Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion auction, the work The Matate Maker sold for EUR 20,480.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rivals in November last year with an auction result of USD 14,130,000.00 (€ 13,687,881.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Diego Rivera erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alain Delon 60 Years of Passion wurde die Arbeit The Matate Maker für EUR 20.480,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diego Rivera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Rivals im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.130.000,00 (€ 13.687.881,43).
