Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Retrato de Anita Antunes (Diana Cazadora) by Diego Rivera was auctioned at Christies in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 693,000.00 (€ 654,761.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rivals in November last year with an auction result of USD 14,130,000.00 (€ 13,687,881.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Retrato de Anita Antunes (Diana Cazadora) von Diego Rivera kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 654.761,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diego Rivera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Rivals im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.130.000,00 (€ 13.687.881,43).
