Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pompeian Scene, Palermo by Diego Rivera was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in New York in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,864.00 (€ 4,459.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Rivals in November last year with an auction result of USD 14,130,000.00 (€ 13,687,881.43).

Die Arbeit Pompeian Scene, Palermo von Diego Rivera wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.864,00 (€ 4.459,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
