Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work A Starling On A Branch by Dirck van Heerde. The price achieved of GBP 657.25 (€ 945.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Dirck van Heerde have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2005 the work Black Panther was auctioned for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,420.94).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Starling On A Branch von Dirck van Heerde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 657,25 (€ 945,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden.
