This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 600.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Diana Armfield; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Roses From the Front Wall, Llwynhir sold at auction in July 2019 with the realized price of GBP 3,562.00 (€ 3,910.84).
