In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Sad Reflections (Double sided) sold for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,609.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Devi Prasad Roy Chowdhury achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Inmate of the Harem in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,990.78).
