In November 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism., which included the work A Coastal Scene With Fisherfolk And Bomschuiten by Désiré Donny. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Désiré Donny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harbour at night in May 2016 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.

Im November 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters& 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism. durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Coastal Scene With Fisherfolk And Bomschuiten von Désiré Donny zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Désiré Donny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harbour at night im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
