Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Landscape) by Dennis Downey for USD 125.00 (€ 88.13). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Downey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trinity II 48 x 48 in. (121.9 x 121.9 cm) framed 48 3/4 x 48 3/4 x 2 in. in November this year with an auction result of USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,173.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Dennis Downey für USD 125,00 (€ 88,13) erwerben.
