The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,185.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Creffield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Petworth House: South end from East, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,700.30).
