Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Age Of Reason by Denmark was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Denmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Time Magazine in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,231.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Age Of Reason von Denmark kam im April 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Time Magazine im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.231,66).
