The price achieved of EUR 97,990.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Denijs van Alsloot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View Of The Abbey Of Groenendael Near Brussels In Winter in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 468,000.00 (€ 695,088.03).
