Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wooded River Landscape by Denijs van Alsloot was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,407.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Denijs van Alsloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View Of The Abbey Of Groenendael Near Brussels In Winter in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 468,000.00 (€ 695,088.03).

Die Arbeit Wooded River Landscape von Denijs van Alsloot wurde im Januar 2010 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.407,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
