Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Near Lochinver by Denis Peploe. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,754.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Denis Peploe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Flowers on a Balcony was auctioned for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,416.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Near Lochinver von Denis Peploe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.754,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Denis Peploe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Flowers on a Balcony für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.416,70) versteigert.
