The work Couplet In Running Script by Deng Sanmu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. It achieved a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,359.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Sanmu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 54,050.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script von Deng Sanmu kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.359,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Sanmu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 54.050,28).
