Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Deng Sanmu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 21,420.00 (€ 2,543.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Sanmu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 54,050.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Deng Sanmu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 21.420,00 (€ 2.543,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Sanmu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 54.050,28).
