This artwork by Deng Sanmu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,899.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Deng Sanmu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 54,050.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Deng Sanmu erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.899,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Deng Sanmu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 54.050,28) versteigert wurde.
