Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fuoriorbita by Davide Nido was sold in the Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection auction at Sothebys in Milan in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,450.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Davide Nido - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coriandoli in Smoking, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,514.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fuoriorbita von Davide Nido wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 1953-2003, A Private Collection bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.450,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Davide Nido mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coriandoli in Smoking beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 14.400,00 (€ 21.514,88) versteigert wurde.
