Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by David Wu Ject-Key was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,004.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Wu Ject-Key have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies Under The Pine in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,498.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von David Wu Ject-Key kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.004,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Wu Ject-Key auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies Under The Pine im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.498,73).
