Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Study Of A Young Girl Seated by David Wu Ject-Key was sold in the Modern Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,449.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wu Ject-Key achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Under The Pine in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,498.73).

Die Arbeit Portrait Study Of A Young Girl Seated von David Wu Ject-Key wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.449,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wu Ject-Key erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Under The Pine im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.498,73).
