Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orpheus by David Wretling was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014. It changed hands for a price of SEK 7,500.00 (€ 819.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Wretling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Ungdom" (=Youth) in December 2015 with an auction result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,447.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orpheus von David Wretling kam im Juni 2014 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 7.500,00 (€ 819,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Wretling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Ungdom" (=Youth) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.447,09).
