This artwork by David Wretling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in September 2009. In the Lilla Bukowskis S189 auction, the work Kvinnlig modell sold for SEK 15,500.00 (€ 1,518.22) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Wretling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Ungdom" (=Youth), which sold at auction in December 2015 for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,447.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Wretling erzielte im September 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Lilla Bukowskis S189 wurde die Arbeit Kvinnlig modell für SEK 15.500,00 (€ 1.518,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Wretling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Ungdom" (=Youth) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.447,09) versteigert wurde.
