Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Woodlock could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Rio Terra Del Carita, By The Accademia, Venice changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 456.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Woodlock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Landscape Painter in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,170.33).
