The work "Clouds from the North, November afternoon" by David West was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,432.19) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David West - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Covesea Lighthouse, Lossiemouth, which sold at auction in May 2003 for GBP 3,877.50 (€ 5,402.33).
