Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection d'un Amateur, which included the work Le Dénicheur D'Oiseaux by David Vinckboons. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 34,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Vinckboons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection d'un Amateur durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Dénicheur D'Oiseaux von David Vinckboons zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 34.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Vinckboons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegant company in an ornamental garden im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 445.569,25).
