It achieved a price of USD 104,500.00 (€ 79,899.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Admittedly, works by David Vinckboons have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).

Die Arbeit Forest Landscape With Two Of Christ'S Miracles von David Vinckboons kam im Februar 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 79.899,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Vinckboons auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegant company in an ornamental garden im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 445.569,25).
