Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Elegant Hunting Party At Rest In A Forest by David Vinckboons. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,109.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Vinckboons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elegant Hunting Party At Rest In A Forest von David Vinckboons zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.109,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Vinckboons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegant company in an ornamental garden im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 445.569,25).
