Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nick by David Tindle was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in October 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,625.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Tindle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).

Die Arbeit Nick von David Tindle wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.625,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Tindle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) versteigert wurde.
