Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kate, for Paris Vogue, September 2005 by David Sims was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2013. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,941.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Sims - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kate Moss, for W, 2006, which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,848.73).
