Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I'Ve Got Your Lipstick by David Shrigley was sold in the Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge: Banksy and 21st Century Editions auction at Christies in London in September last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,151.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shrigley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (It's OK) in March last year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80).

Die Arbeit I'Ve Got Your Lipstick von David Shrigley wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge: Banksy and 21st Century Editions bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.151,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
