Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Bernadette Jurkowski by David Seidner for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,604.50). This price was achieved in the auction Saturday@Phillips at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Seidner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 20,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bernadette Jurkowski von David Seidner für USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.604,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Seidner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.160,00.
