The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,375.00 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by David Oyens; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot De Stamtafel: storytelling in a cafe sold at auction in May 2014 with the realized price of EUR 16,250.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von David Oyens; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit De Stamtafel: storytelling in a cafe im Mai 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 16.250,00.
