This artwork by David Loggan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2010. In the An Exceptional Eye: A Private British Collection auction, the work Portrait Of A Gentleman sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,763.43) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by David Loggan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Gentleman in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,069.72).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Loggan erzielte im Juli 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion An Exceptional Eye: A Private British Collection wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.763,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Loggan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.069,72).
