Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1968 by David Lan-Bar was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 744.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Lan-Bar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, 1956, which sold at auction in March 2009 for EUR 1,530.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1968 von David Lan-Bar wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 744,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Lan-Bar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1956 beobachtet, die im März 2009 für EUR 1.530,00 versteigert wurde.
