The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,318.58), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Ligare - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape with Three Figures (Teleion), which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 52,575.00 (€ 45,140.38).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.318,58) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von David Ligare mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape with Three Figures (Teleion) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 52.575,00 (€ 45.140,38) versteigert wurde.
