Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ayrshire cattle resting by the sea by David Gauld was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Gauld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Procession Of St. Agnes in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,316.25).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
