This artwork by David Burliuk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. In the Two Centuries: American Art auction, the work Arles (after Vincent van Gogh) sold for USD 22,680.00 (€ 19,313.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Burliuk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Church in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 322,900.00 (€ 452,143.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Burliuk erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Two Centuries: American Art wurde die Arbeit Arles (after Vincent van Gogh) für USD 22.680,00 (€ 19.313,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Burliuk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Church im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 322.900,00 (€ 452.143,54).
