Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Farm Seen from the Air by David Burliuk. It changed hands for a price of GBP 47,880.00 (€ 55,792.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Burliuk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Church in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 322,900.00 (€ 452,143.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farm Seen from the Air von David Burliuk zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 47.880,00 (€ 55.792,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Burliuk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In The Church im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 322.900,00 (€ 452.143,54).
