Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Farm by David Burliuk was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,380.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Burliuk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Church in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 322,900.00 (€ 452,143.54).

Die Arbeit Farm von David Burliuk wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.380,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Burliuk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In The Church im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 322.900,00 (€ 452.143,54).
